communication training program

How do I act confident in a job interview if I feel I am underqualified for the position?
I’ve been working as a trainer in the team for more than a year now. Aside from that, I was an instructor in college for one semester.
Now, I got a call from a call center company about an opening for a Communications Training Program Manager position.
The position will entail creating manuals and leading a team of trainers.
In my current position, I am able to work autonomously and work on creating manuals (without any professional certification) and facilitating new hire training and refresher sessions for the team.
Even if I feel I have contributed much to my team, I feel inadequate and ill-equipped for the position being offered at the other company.
How can I go through the interview with this issue in mind…?
I don’t want to say that I feel that I am not qualified since I have some limited leadership experience. On the other hand, I do not want to let this opportunity just pass by easily.
Please, please advise! Tomorrow is my phone interview.
Thanks!
Well, infact i too worked as a call center trainer with a leading MNC BPO.
Whatever it may be, be confident…. If you feel like nervous, write down neatly in a paper about the possible questions that may be asked 2mrw. Just read dat with confident when they call you 2mrw.
Just prepare a list of acheivements which you think is right and expalim them clearly…
Dont worry, telephonic intyerview hav nothing to do with your feelings… Think that you are “SUITABLE” and talk with them in that sense…
Never ever show up that you are afraid… be bld, be confident… datz the mantra to crack this interview…
All the best for you…
